Today marks the official release of Sonic Salve by Genesis Light Operation across all major platforms.
This album has already reached nearly 30,000 listeners worldwide, with early access made available through our SoundCloud community on October 10, 2025. That pre-release alone brought in over 18,600 organic streams, with no paid advertising.
Leading up to todayâs release, we launched four singles:
The Meditation Song (Sept 12)
Cosmic Threads (Sept 26)
Dance of the Kundalini (Oct 17)
Youâre Not Crazy (Oct 24)
These tracks formed the energetic backbone of the album and connected deeply with listeners around the world â including vibrant pockets of support in the United States, Vietnam, Ukraine, Egypt, Germany, Canada, and beyond.
Sonic Salve began development in the months following a life-altering fire in 2024. What started as a personal healing project grew into a 15-month journey of writing, producing, and refining a body of work that is intentionally infused with frequency, presence, and emotional honesty.
This isn't "spiritual music" in the traditional sense.
Itâs a grounded offering â made to meet people wherever they are in their healing, their listening habits, or their emotional landscapes.
These songs were built with attention to vibrational tone, emotional intelligence, and musical integrity. No bells and bowls. No clichés. Just depth, groove, and care.
We're seeing strong connection with tracks like:
Source (I AM Presence) â 2,958 plays
Dance of the Kundalini â 2,732 plays
Youâre Not Crazy â 2,630 plays
Gnosis â 2,515 plays
Magic Inside You â 1,927 plays
And on Spotify, The Meditation Song currently holds 3,533 streams with over 540 saves â evidence of true resonance.
While each project we support is meaningful, Sonic Salve holds a special place. Itâs a testament to healing through music â not as a concept, but as a lived reality.
Thank you to everyone who has listened, shared, or held space for this work.
We hope it serves as a balm, a breath, and a reminder that sound â when made with intention â can support the journey back to wholeness.

Smoke, Salt & Sorrow is a sculpted body of emotional work, slow in spirit, but pulsing with moments of movement.
This isnât an album made for the crowdâitâs made for those private hours when everything softens, or stings, or settles into clarity.
Born from stillness and shaped by introspection, this album moves between ambient ballads and downtempo rhythms, from high-gloss sorrow to soft, shimmering groove.
Tracks like âSo Sad,â âGive You All of Me,â âVision,â and âWe Are Stars Still Spinningâ bring a sense of melodic release: progressive, flowing, and body-aware.
Others, like âIntrovertedâ or âUnstolen,â live in the hush between breaths.
Lyrically, Smoke, Salt & Sorrow holds weight. These songs werenât made to please, they were made to process. To remember. To reclaim.
Itâs an album about the subtle power of solitude, the ache of emotional labor, the slow return of joy, and the quiet clarity that grief leaves behind.
This is not a break-up record. Itâs a breakthrough record.
A soft, spacious offering for anyone whoâs had to rebuild themselves without applause.
Some songs ask you to sit still. Others invite you to sway.
This is Smoke, Salt & Sorrow.
And itâs yours now.

Daily reflections leading to the May 1st release
Some moments hit so hard they leave a mark.
But the worst ones? They always feel like the hardestâuntil the next one shows up.
This past year brought what felt like the hardest moment of my life.
I say âfelt likeâ because, letâs be realâevery super shitty life chapter somehow outdoes the last. Iâve survived a few, but this one hit different. Even now, a year later, there are days where I go to grab something, excited to start a new idea⊠and then it hits me like a punch in the chest.
âOh yeahâthat thing? That went up in smoke.â
Not metaphorically.
Literally.
Everything I had spent six years buildingâgone in one night.
And in a weird twist of cosmic timing, that same night I got a call. After more than a year of silence, my family finally told me where my mom wasâliving in a nursing home out west. I didnât know it then, but a new kind of loss had already started. Several months later, on the eve of Winter Solstice, she passed.
I had been planning to go see her once she entered palliative care. But as fate would have it, circumstances didnât align. So instead, I supported my auntâwho made the journey and was there to sit with her, so she wouldnât leave this realm alone.
Grief does strange things to time. It collapses days, stretches memories, and loops you back to the moment you thought you could outrun. So yeah⊠I joke about it. Not because itâs funny in the sitcom senseâbut because humor has become one of my sacred tools. Itâs how I exorcise the weight. I laugh with the painânot at it. Thatâs my survival magic.
Ebb & Flow came out of all that. It wasnât born from a happy placeâbut it wasnât born in despair either. It was crafted in the quiet in-between⊠where the tide isnât crashing, itâs carrying. A song made not from panicâbut presence.
This blog series is part of the same rhythm. For the next 30 days, Iâll be posting a lyric from the song and a reflection on what it means. Because, as a songwriter, I can tell you: no line is âjust a line.â Every word carries weight. Every phrase has blood, breath, memory.
Week One is about those early stirrings of hope. That first inhale after the chaos. The feeling of being lifted when you no longer have the energy to rise.
Right now, Iâm off work on medical leaveâwaiting to see a back surgeon. Itâs frustrating, but itâs also given me time to work through a backlog of unfinished tracks, and pour love into a new creation: the Sound Arts Coterie Projectâa collaborative space for music, emotion, and multidimensional expression.
Thanks for being part of this wave.
See you tomorrow.

Ebb and Flow â New Single Release: May 1, 2025
Weâre thrilled to announce the upcoming release of our new single, Ebb and Flow, set to drop on May 1, 2025. This track reflects the peaceful rhythm of lifeâs natural cycles, celebrating the ebb and flow of emotions, experiences, and time.
Inspired by natureâs balance and the beauty found in life's quiet moments, Ebb and Flow carries listeners through gentle waves of sound, creating a sense of calm and reflection. With soothing melodies and heartfelt lyrics, this track reminds us that everything, even our most challenging moments, is part of a greater rhythm. As the title suggests, itâs all about embracing the flow, accepting the ebb, and finding peace in both.
The lyrics of Ebb and Flow capture this essence perfectly:
âAwoke in the arms of a gentle tide,
Waves of calm, where dreams reside,
No rush, just drift on the morning breeze,
A quiet dance in timeâs embrace with ease.â
From the fireâs warmth to the soft breeze of the evening, the song brings a sense of grounding and renewal. Itâs a reminder that we donât always need to rush forwardâsometimes, the key to finding peace is simply being still and embracing what comes our way.
